Don't buy if you are tall

I received the bike as a gift. It was easy to set up and is smooth and quite. But I have two complaints. First I am 5'6" tall and I cannot adjust the seat height to accommodate my legs; it is just a little too short. I can't see how anyone 6'2" could possibly use this bike. Second, the reading for the calorie count is completely inaccurate and I can't get a pulse reading at all. I have to use my heart rate monitor to get an accurate reading. I plan to use the bike to rehab my knee and to get some cardio exercise between workouts at the gym so I think it will be fine for that but it would not be useful for more serious exercise.

First I have three complaints: 1) No one can put this thing together in a half hour. I consider myself mechanically pretty savy and it took me over three hours to put it together. 2) The pulse rate worked for at least 10 seconds before it died, never to return again. 3) Whoever delivered it must have rode it from the factory. Now for the good points: 1)ALL parts were there for assembly and no stripped threads. 2) Directions for assembly need some improvement but they work if you take your time and reread them a couple of times before trying the assembly. It is very sturdy and made of good material. Runs smoothly and silently. I watch the TV while using it with no problem hearing the TV. Overall I think it is a very worthwhile investment.
