    My husband and I bought this bike to get into a daily exercise regiment and so far it is working. I have biked every day since we purchased the bike. It is very quiet and smooth and is perfect for exercising while watching TV after work. The only cons are that it is a little awkward to adjust for height. I am 5'2'' and my husband is 5'11'', since we both use the bike each day we have to adjust it twice a day. It is definitely not the easiest bike to adjust. The set-up took us just under 2 hours, but the directions were easy to follow. Overall we are very pleased and I would recommend it to a friend. Especially if you can just set the height adjustment and leave it alone, then it would be perfect.

        I have arthritic knees. My therapist recommended an exercise bike. I am amazed at how flexible I am since using this bike. I also feel healthier and have more energy. I would recommend this bike to anyone who is having knee problems or just wants to start a fitness program. Absolutely one of the best purchases I have ever made.

        Q1: how many levels of resistance? how many batteries required and what size?

        A: This bike in order to increase or decrease the resistance you have to turn the nob manually and there is no way of knowing how many resistance levels.  The more you increase the knob the harder it is to push the pedals.  The control panel requires 4 AA batteries which are not included.
